Ok, so this isn't exactly interior design related but it was too funny for me not to post. Summer is coming up and it's time to start planning those camping trips! Why not make things interesting and bring along your sweet bear sleeping bag? This bag designed by Eiko Ishizawa is dedicated to a big brown bear that was hunted in the Alps and is meant to not only let you know how it feels to be a bear, but to know what it's like to be eaten by one. Bound to get some laughs, unless you yourself are hunted...then it's just ironic.

It is amazing how green everyone is becoming. From eco-friendly homes, resteraunts and now eco-friendly nightclubs. Greenhouse is the first LEED certified club in America. Located in SoHo New York, the club uses recycle materials on both levels and has a magnificent ceiling treatment made of 5,000 crystals.

The Takasugi-an teahouse not only caught my eye because of it's uniqueness, but also because of it's downright scariness. This quaint tea house, built by Japanese architect Terunobu Fujimori, is not only extremely compact but it is also perched on replanted chestnut trees that have been cut from a local mountain. The only way to get in is by using free-standing ladders, which further add to its unstableness. The Tea house has an amazing view from the inside and when looking at it from the outside it almost appears to float in air as the thin trees that hold the house blend into the wooded background.
